Technical Specifications for ExFlow Content Gate
ExFlow Content Gate runs as a SaaS-solution and is hosted by SignUp Software.
Content Gate follows Microsoft´s technical requirements for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The Content Gate app needs to be installed in the customer’s Business Central environment to connect to the hosted solution.
To use Content Gate, an Administrator consent has to be given upon the first use of the application and is needed for the communication between Business Central, Content Gate and Azure Active Directory.
Data storage
ExFlow Content Gate can be hosted in a data center of choosing. Advised is to select a data center in (or close to) the region where the customer is located and/or the Dynamics environment is hosted.
The data used by the application will be stored in the Microsoft Azure data center location that is decided by the customer before the deployment is created.
All content that is stored in Content Gate is stored in a storage account in the subscription of the customer. The storage can be done in Azure Blob Storage or SharePoint Online
All data used by a customer is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
File size limitation
The maximum file size for uploading document through the user interface is set to 100MB.
Document preview
The following file formats are supported for previewing.

• xlsx
• xlsm
• bmp
• gif
• jpg
• pdf
• png
• pptx
• txt
• xps
Although the mentioned formats are generally supported, it may be that due to specific characteristics in the file, the preview is not always correct.
